The Butterfly Ilius B Table Tennis Rubber utilizes a long pip top sheet with a powerful Absorber Sponge Drop sponge. This combination is hard and bends the pimples more, resulting in increased effects. Usually, the harder the sponge, the faster the ball will go off the racket, making control more difficult. The top sheet is also hard with the highest possible aspect ratio of pimples, to take full advantage of its features. With chop block, short stroke play is enhanced due to the rubber and sponge.
Additionally, this combination enables both offensive and defensive techniques, while retaining the desirable characteristics of the long pips, such as a low penetrating chop backhand with minimal spin.
